FAQs

WHERE DO YOU SHIP TO?

The whole world! I ship all UK orders with Royal Mail 1st Class, which costs £3.00 Everywhere else is shipped using the Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed service, which costs £10.

HOW LONG WILL SHIPPING TAKE?

Orders will be dispatched within 2 working days. Please note this may take longer around Christmas time when demand is higher. You will receive shipping confirmation via email when your goodies are on their way.

UK orders should then take another 1-3 working days to arrive.

EU orders should arrive within 5-7 working days of dispatch, and worldwide within 7-10, however this can be longer at the moment due to COVID-19 and Brexit. Please be aware that international orders may be susceptible to custom charges on arrival, depending on the country you are in and the value of your order. Sadly this is totally out of my control, and if it happens it will be your responsibility to cover!

Please note, I will not be held accountable for any uncollected items from your local delivery office - if your order gets sent back to me, it will be your choice to pay for it to be re-sent.

WHAT ARE YOUR JEWELLERY PIECES MADE OUT OF?

I use high quality polymer clay to make all of my jewellery pieces. Each component is shaped by me before being cured in the oven. They are then drilled, sanded, buffed, hand-drawn (some pieces), varnished and finally assembled. It's a long process but each piece is made with the utmost love and care, and I hope you'll agree that they are worth the time they take to make!

WHAT FINDINGS DO YOU USE IN YOUR JEWELLERY?

I use sterling silver findings for necklaces and all hook and hoop style earrings. Surgical steel findings are used for stud style earrings. This means they will be super comfortable for even the most sensitive of earlobes!

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY JEWELLERY?

As I use high quality sterling silver & surgical steel findings, they shouldn't tarnish as long as you keep good care of them. I recommend storing your pieces covered in a cool dry place, away from water (definitely don't wear them in the shower or whilst swimming) and away from high humidity, to prevent tarnishing. If the silver does start to tarnish over time, they are super easy to polish - I recommend the Town Talk silver polishing cloth, which you can buy from lots of different places (and is also stocked by my lovely friend Maggie Cross!)

If the polymer clay starts to get a bit grubby over time, you can use a very slightly damp cloth or a makeup wipe to gently wipe over the surface and make it looking shiny and lovely again.

Polymer clay is a fairly sturdy material, but it is still clay, so it is breakable! I make all my pieces very chunky to try avoid potential breakages, but please avoid putting pressure on them to keep them safe. Definitely resist shoving them into your purse or chucking them in a bag - as I have had customers do this and it has led to sad smiley boi breakages :'(

DO YOU TAKE RETURNS/EXCHANGES?

I do not take returns or exchanges, due to the small nature of my business and for hygiene reasons. If this is due to a fault on my behalf with the order however, there will be an exception - if there is an issue with your order please contact me at hello@lazydisco.co.uk.

EVERYTHING IS SOLD OUT! WHEN WILL IT BE RESTOCKED?

Everything at Lazy Disco is made in small batches - which also means it tends to sell out quite quickly! I try to update the shop as regularly as possible. However it's best to keep up with us on Instagram or our newsletter to be in the know about any and all shop restocks.

I HAVE ANOTHER QUESTION! HOW CAN I GET IN TOUCH?

Send me a request via the Contact page, or by contacting hello@lazydisco.co.uk. Alternatively, send me a message via Instagram - however please bear in mind I get a very high volume of messages so it may take a little while for me to get back to you.
